Xue Jjijun started his career in August,1983, after graduating from Department of Chinese of Beijing Normal University.He is now member of editorial committee of China Media Group, currently president of China Science Film and Video Association.

He planned and created many television programs such as Fa Xian Zhi Lv(Journey of Discovery), Bai Ke TanMi(Encyclopedia Explorations), and Great Master. He planned the filming ofmany full length science documentaries such as Resurrected Legion, Vicissitudes of the Empire. He plannedand created digital pay-channels suchas Journey of Discovery, Middle School Students. And he also has many essays published.

He was awarded several times the National Best Ten Presenters of TV Series, organized by China Association of Radio and Television and its successor organization China Aliance of Radio and Television.

He is an award-winning director and producer. His documentary "The Old Summer Palace"is a well accredited documentary winning best Science and Education Film Award at GoldenRooster Awards and Huabiao Awards,

Golden Eagle Awards, First Prize ofScience Innovation of SARFT, Golden Panda Awards and Jury Prize at the 11th Pyongyang International Film Festival.His science documentary Night of Thunder won Second Prize of National Award of Science and TechnologyProgress, First Prize of Science Innovation of SARFT and Golden Panda Awards.

He produced documentaries such as Exploring the Moon and Aerial China, TV Series Two Decades After the OpeningUp and Reform. He is the co-presenter of Wolf Warriors(Zhan Lang)2, animation Panda and Mole, TV Series China 1921, National Destiny, Mao Ze Dong, Deng Xiaoping in Turn of History, The Mekong River, Love at the Quadrangles and other works, many of which won The Five One-Projects Awards, Golden Rooster Awards, Huabiao Awards, Feitian Awards, Xingguang Awards and other awards.
