China International Conference of Science and Education Producers (CICSEP), founded by China Association of Science and Technology (CAST) in 2000, has held ten sessions every past two years.Nearly 100 TV stations and production organizations across more than 60 countries and regions have participated in the event. CICSEP is sponsored by the China Science Film and Video Association(CSFVA) under CAST. It mainly composed of the China Dragon Awards and the summit forum at the creation and development of science and education programs. The international Pitching started to be held since the sixth annual conference to boost science and education programs production development as well as the international industrial exchange.
       Since the beginning of CICSEP it has been supported by China Media Group, provincial and municipal TV stations, film studios and professional creative agencies of science and education programs in China, and many prestigious professional groups abroad, including Australian Broadcasting Corporation(ABC), British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) and Canadian Broadcasting Corporation(CBC), Discovery, INA, KBS, NGC, NHK, NHNZ, RAI, RTBF and ZDF internationally.
